Himalayan Salt Baked Salmon
A healthy and flavorful dish that showcases the mineral-rich taste of pink salt while keeping the salmon moist and perfectly seasoned.

- • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- • 2 tbsp Himalayan pink salt (coarse)
- • 2 tbsp olive oil
- • 2 cloves garlic, minced
- • 1 lemon, sliced
- • 2 sprigs fresh dill
- • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- • 1 tbsp black pepper
- • 1 tbsp honey
Himalayan pink salt contains 84 trace minerals that enhance the natural flavors of salmon while providing a subtle mineral complexity that table salt cannot match.
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil. In a small bowl, mix the Himalayan pink salt with black pepper. Generously season both sides of the salmon with the salt mixture.
Place seasoned salmon on the prepared baking sheet. Top each fillet with minced garlic, a drizzle of honey, and fresh herbs. Arrange lemon slices around and on top of the fish.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). The Himalayan salt will form a beautiful crust while keeping the fish moist.
Let the salmon rest for 2-3 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh dill and serve with the roasted lemon slices. The mineral-rich salt enhances the natural flavors without overpowering the delicate fish.
